Brewer Dead After One and a Half Years, Warranty Expired

I am quite disappointed in the Keurig Company. I have had my brewer for exactly one and a half years. It will not power and all I'm told is it is out of warranty. For the price, the warranty should be longer or some type of repair service should be available. I was offered a discount on a new brewer but again no option of an extended warranty on a system that has a poor life expectancy. Keurig really should do better!!
