Rebate ripoff mail-in rebate for hard drive

Bought Seagate ST31220026A 120GB hard drive for $139.99 with $60 mail-in rebate. Sent in all of the required paperwork within the time period. Called them after 8 weeks. They told me that they had not received anything.

Went to Frys Rention store with copies of all paperwork. They said they would re-submit it and I should call back if I hadn't received check by November.

Called Frys again since no check and rebate tracking number they gave is not recognised. The lady who had processed my rebate has since left and they say they have no record of it. They offered to re-submit once more.
