In December 03 I bought a Western Digital 160 gig hard drive at Frys with a $70 rebate offer. I did EVERYTHING right, mailed it on time and the rebate was denied saying I had failed to mail an original receipt (AN OUTRIGHT LIE). I have protested to WD and to their rip off rebate agent REBATEHQ, to no avail. This company has had numerous complaints about failing to honor rebates. Beware. Someone should start a class action against them. Total ripoff. I should have bought from Fujitsu.
