Ripoff An $8,000 Government Grant free for you The only thing is that you need a Checking Account

The deal was, a guy called me and offered me a $8,000 dollars scholarship that was part of the government "extra" money that I did not have to pay back. After talking about it he asked me for a "checking account" in order to make the electronical tranference of the money.

I believed it and I give away my information with my mother's account number. After some time I decided to look for some information on the company on "google.com" what lead me to a recent report about this company, somebody who get the same call but did not give away information.

I decided I was a fool for giving away information and realized they did not gave me any kind of background (I know it is dumb, it can happen to anybody) My mom went to the bank and tell a representan about it, he said it was all a fraud. That the name of the company already was making fake checks with the information given and the account number, created ellectronically by the web. He did not cancelled the account number until next Monday (november 8) but the deal is that the transaction the deposit of the 8,000 dollars would be made on November 7, and "after" that there were going to be a fee of $257 for the transaction. The problem is that it sounds like a real company a guy made the deal and then let you record you information with a computer. It was very real to me, I could not believe it was all true.
