Salesperson called around beginning of October. Salesperson GUARANTEED credit card with $1000.00 limit if I prepay $299.00. The money came out of my account on 10/22/04. The debit has the folling info:

Transaction Description: 866-530-0041 CENTRAL 1303142866

Amount: -$299.00

When I checked my account on saturday 10/23/04 I noticed the transaction. I didn't remember making the transaction at that time. I called 866-530-0041 recorded message came on and said I needed to call back between 10am-430pm EST mon-fri but to leave detailed message and a rep will call back. They didn't even intro the company name. Just billing department. I left my message that I didn't remember purchasing anything if someone could contact me explaining what this transaction is about, gave my contact info and a good time to call for monday 10/25/04.

I didn't recieved a call from the company on monday, tuesday or wednesday. I called several different times during the above hours 10-430pm est. During these three days recieving the same billing recording. On Wednesday 10/27/04 I contacted my bank, Washington Mutual, about the purchase. They couldn't find any info on the recieving parties account the agent helped search online and found that the result was making odd. The billing number search in Google.com returned a page for an offshore company whose homepage has a long display pointing (attacking) the 866 number belongs to a Central Support and Savings. I checked their status at BBB.com and found the following: Number of complaints processed by the BBB since the firm's BBB file was opened in September:9

Resolved: 8; Company made good faith effort to Resolve: 1.. I was advised by my bank representative that this is more than likely a fraudulent company and that I should allow her to put in for a dispute. I wasn't completely convienced so I did a google.com search for the company name. I am currently waiting for the paper work from the bank. I hope noone else has to go through this. I simply cannot belive noone can locate where this money is going. Something needs to be done about this!
