AKA Capitol Vacations ripoff

I have been trying to get my refund from this company for almost 2 months now. They called asking for my husband. I told them that he was at work. Then the lady on the other line proceeded to tell me that she had a great deal and there was no obligation to buy anything.

She told me that she has a free vacation for me and all I needed to do was listen to her sales pitch and the vacation was mine. This part of the conversation was not recorded. I told her at the very beginning of the conversation that I was not interested in buying anything. She told me that I did not need to buy anything.

After he sales pitch she told me that I was going to be recorded for training purposes and I would need to give her my checking account information. I told her that I didnt want anything taken out of my account for any reason and she said that was fine and nothing would be touched in my account and the trip was mine to keep. I said okay and proceeded to give her my information.

While she was talking to me my 3 year old son kept interrupting me so I wasn't hearing everything she was saying. So I missed the part when she said that I was on a 7 day free trial. And that after my 7 day trial period was up I would be charged $40.00 for a one time processing fee and $19.95 every month after.

I never thought anything of it after that. Because I never recieved the free vacation packet or anything else. Then the next month, I had a debit out of my account for $40.00 from Suntasia. Me and my husband were like what the heck is this. I didn't remember signing up for anything and he didn't sign up for anything. The next month $19.95 then the next month $19.95. So we decided to go online and find out what the heck Suntasia was. We found this website and I was shocked that this was happening to other people.

So I called the company and asked them to cancel my membership and I want my money back. They told me that I can either have the last months money back or $200.00 in gas vouchers. I told them that the gas vouchers would be nice. They said that they would be here in 7 to 14 days that was on 9/03/04. It is now the middle of October and still no gas vouchers. I'm done waiting for my vouchers. Now I'm just irritated and frusterated that I am not the only person that this has happened to. Me and my husband work very hard for our money and I want my vouchers that they promised me almost 2 months ago.
