Husband and I attended James Smith Financial Success Summit seminar in June. Impressed with the sincerity of intent to do good with investments and the feasibility of their training us in a proven successful path of real estate investing, stock trading, and asset protection.
Later found out that company was in transition of change of ownership and thought it was a good idea to succumb to the guarantee of mentoring. Received written documentation that we would re coup our investment from the mentoring or we would keep getting mentored till we did re coup the investment. It was to the company's advantage to get us up to speed as soon as possible and retain us as a success story.
Mentoring contact became random, then stopped, and we did not get our money's worth; we cancelled a vacation in order to attend the M5 Seminar which is the major seminar of the program which was scheduled for this October. It never materialized though we RSVP'd per on-line requests this fall. Now we see that WealthRock closed their doors (on website) and we have received no contact from them via repeated attempts and correspondence. We are out money for contractual obligations not met: $15K for mentoring and $11,500 for the M5.
Any suggestions to help us will be appreciated.
