Ripoff, fraudulent billing, blackmail Bedford New Hampshire

One Web Direct Bill billed me $45 for accessing a website supposedly in the United Kingdom. When I emailed them to dispute the charge they said that someone in my house accessed the site and had to go through a "series" of steps verifying they accepted the charges. The only one who possibly could have done this would be my 13 year old son who cannot possibly enter into such an agreement. And he said he would never say yes knowing I'd find out about the charge.

OWD quotes various state laws saying their billing practice is legal. As a business teacher I know that minors cannot enter legally binding agreements. Furthermore, if you want to pay the bill by credit card you have to check a box that says "I realize that any attempt to dispute this charge after it has been billed to my credit card will result in further collections, an additional $25 chargeback fine, and will affect my personal credit rating. I also realize that such a dispute attempt will place my credit card into a blacklist that will cause my credit card number to be declined by thousands of other Internet merchants."
