Ripoff scam

I received a voucher for $400.00, as a consolation prize, to be applied toward one of the following products of my choice: RCA Home Stereo System w/Surround Sound, IBM Desktop Computer w/Software & FREE Internet, Xavier "Masterpeice" Matching Diamond Watch Set, IBM Laptop Computer w/Software & FREE Internet, Ultralite 5-pc Expandable Luggage Set, DVC Digital Camcorder Package.

The remaining balance can be paid by personal check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, or the Discover Card. You also have an option to use their interest-FREE Lay-A-Way plan by paying only $10 down and $10 per month ($25 if remaining balance due is over $200)

I have already mailed a $25 money order to them on 6/3/04, to find out today that it's a ripoff. I guess I should have thought about my father telling me "if something sounds too good to be true, it probaly is".
