Complicated & Will Not Work With Students

My son did not check out of his dorm room correctly, according to UMBC, and when he did not return the following semester, the school smacked him with excessive fees tied to his drom agreement. I have reached out to UMBC to find a middle ground and they are not interested in working with me. I have reviewed the agreement and for those attending this school, I highly reccomend getting a legal review of the agreement before comitting to this school. I was shocked that they expect a student to sign such a legal document that has large sums of money tied to it.

Very complicated and the school always wins when there is a difference of opinion. My sons' documentation that they shared with me did not have proper signatures on the document itself. But rather a shorter version that we have no way of knowing if my son even saw the document in question. I cannot reccomend this school as it does not have the students best interests in mind when it comes to their housing. I am happy to work with UMBC, but they are totally unwilling to work with me.
