I also went to Kaplin University. At first I loved it I was a straight A student and did great in my classes. The financial aid people told me everything was covered. When I enrolled for another semester they said I owed $1860 for the semester I just completed. I asked how and for an itemized bill. They would not give me one. They said I could not enroll for another semester until this was paid. I did not have the money and was about to get another pell grant. I called fafsa and the BBB and fafsa told me to switch the school code so they did not get the pell grant. I had more than enough monies in my student loan to cover my tuition. I had to drop out of Kaplan and now they are holding my transcripits hostage. I tried to enroll in my local community college and cannot until I get my transcripts from Kaplan. Kaplan will not release them until I get my money. It does not seem legal that other schools can even act as collection agencies on behalf of a fraudulant school. I am now in the position I can not go back to school. Beware of Kaplan.
