We picked up Campus Explorer's Grant offer and started sending email traffic to their portal http://www.campusexplorer.com / which should have been the first sign that we were dealing with a bunch of noobs. They would only fire the pixel when certain colleges were picked and mostly when more than one school was chosen. Throughout the month when they started hitting caps they started firing the pixel even less until they were rejecting over half the leads. They still kept a copy of the data and sold them to other portals. To make matters worse, they discounted invoices with ghost returns every month until they bled the profits from my mailers. My suggestion is that you be very careful dealing with these guys and keep your payment terms super short. We are waiting on our final invoice and since the new regulations they are almost two months late.
