Vicki Gohring Duvall "Montessori" is a DISGRACE to thre Montessori concept and teachings

My children attended Duvall "Montessori" for 2 years. After reading this you will ask "why did your children attend this school for 2 years, if it was so bad?". I was in a custody battle at the time and due to unresolved litigation that went on for 18 months, I didn't have a choice.
Duvall Montessori is a complete disgrace to the Montessori concept. The "teacher" Vicki Gohring is an inarticulate, trashy disgrace of an "educator" or role model for any child. The school is much better described as a "low end" day care/babysitting service.
To use the word "Montessori" is laughable in the context of this school. Children are provided with coloring book pages to complete daily, with a very rare original art project. My child came home daily, with pages and pages of coloring book pictures.
The "teacher" Vicki Gohring, was often absent, leaving the school/daycare in the hands of her uneducated, multiple pierced daughter Jonessa. A sweet girl, but not the "sharpest tool in the shed". Just meet her mother and you'll realize, the poor kid didn't have a chance.
An unlocked fenced area behind the school, was a common place to find my child, unsupervised, playing with the other children. "we are right here, inside the office" was a typical response to the concerns of the unsupervised play.
My child developed ZERO fundamental skills in this program and struggled, in Kindergarten, with the basics.
It's no surprise that Duvall Montessori has such small enrollment, the word is out. The only students they receive are because "every other school is full". Don't make the mistake we did. Drive the extra 10 miles to another town.
Duvall Coop and BCC Coop in Carnation, are both excellent schools. I highly recommend both of them.
