Misfortune in

The Hudson Montessori School in Hudson Ohio failed to provide an acceptable educational environment for our son.

Once enrolled in this school, our easy going and fun loving little chatter box began to suffer unusual emotional problems which we attribute to the school's overcrowded classroom environment. We believe that the teacher ignored obvious signs that our little boy was overwhelmed and shocked by the overcrowded HMS classrooms as he withdrew into himself more and more as time went on.

The school principal, oblivious to these goings on in teacher's classroom, when informed about the situation more or less pointed the finger back at us as parents, and provided a bullshit sales pitch about how wonderful the school is. Based on these events and others, we believed that this school is actually uninterested in the welfare of our boy.

Not willing to waste any more of our child's time nor let him suffer any more at this school, we removed him from it mid way through the academic year. Upon pulling him from the school, we requested a refund for a portion of the unused tuition. Only at this point, when we asked some of our money back, did the principal suddenly become interested enough to bother suggesting that there may be some things they could possibly do on their end to help. Too little too late!

So after making us wait about a month for an answer to the refund question, the school informed us that a unanimous decision was reached by their financial committee to not refund a dime of the $7,160 that we paid in advance.
