Beware of their gift cards

I'd a hair-cut today in the Aveda Institute by having an advanced pupil as well as purchased a blusher. Our statement got as much as $67.83. I offered the cashier having a $25 gift-card that was section of a Christmas bundle I purchased in the same Aveda Company in December. The cashier refused stating the $25.00 discount was great just for the month of January.

I reported but didn't get any fulfillment, apart from a telephone number to contact among the salonis administrators - that we did instantly. I've not heard back yet.

Our criticism is really as follows: I'm as though I've been robbed and tricked since:

1. There's no expiration day about the giftcard. The only disclaimer onto it is "Legitimate from jan 01 for salon services only. Fees and gratuities not included."

There's nothing about the card, entrance or back that claims that it's just legitimate for January.

2. The cashier managed that people might have been informed at that time of purchase in December the card was just advantageous to January. That's false since had I been informed that, I'd not need purchased the Christmas bundle within the first-place when I realized I had been likely to be from the nation for 6 months, such as the whole month of January and was actually departing the weekend of the purchase.

Personally I think I've been robbed on both matters. I've been an excellent promoter of Aveda in america and Canada along with a lover of the objective of its unique creator, Horst Rechelbacher. But this occurrence has quit an undesirable and poor style in my own mouth. Be familiar with Aveda providing presents!
