MWI Connection
Charged me without my knowledge or consent. Ripoff rip off

I received my bank statement and saw a charge and then a credit from MWI Connection. The charge and credit were small amounts, so I was not worried about how much was charged, but the fact that someone was using my account without my knowledge or consent bothered me.

I proceed to look online at my bank statement, when I saw that $149.94 had also been charged to my account last week! I had never heard of MWI Connection before, so I was extremely upset and afraid that someone had stolen my account number.

I then called MWI Connection. They claimed to have received my information from an infommercial and that I had consented to being charged. They said that my 30 day trial period was up and that it was the beginning of my membership to some coupon place.

I told them that I had not ordered anything off the TV for at least six months, so their information was not obtained that way. They then proceed to tell me that they received my information from an order from a year ago, which could be true. However, I specifically remember telling the man I ordered from that I did not need to hear about the deals he was telling me, because I did not want them. I also told him that I did not want anything offered for free that I would have to cancel later.

MWI Connection says that they will credit my account, but it could take some time. Hopefully, this will occur.
