I have been a member from the very beginning and I paid a hefty $4,000 upfront for membership. For that price you get free coffee - big deal! The membership now is about $1,000. They refused to give a refund. There is a big diconnect between what Peekadoodle wants to charge and what parents are willing to pay.
Peekadoodle gives you a false feeling of safety!!! Ella and Cayla the owners are knowingly putting our children at risk. They know about these problems and do nothing. They left the front door wide open and my son walked right out and down the stairs by the busy street. They didn't care. They said they were not responsible for children. They propped the door open. They didn't even ask if my son was okay. The side door by Polk street also does not close/lock properly. Any freak from the street can open the door. These mothers are more interested in fixing the doorbell, but not the doors.
And how many times have I hit my head on the short doorways built for children in the play area? They spent $2 million dollars and they never considered safety. My children's life is not worth any price!
The teachers also do not know how to treat children. They do not know what they are doing. We are talking about babies and toddlers. I've seen a lot of horrible things. They talk a big talk, especially when they think you have money when they try to get you to sign up. They have no compassion, they're rude, and they're just trying to milk you for every thing at the cost of our children. They are trying to get away with not labeling themselves a child care place, but you do drop them off for babysitting, camp, and classes. Peekadoodle is responsible for your children, Don't let them fool you.
They also charge $1,000 for birthday parties. Not worth it. No, no circus animals come to your party for that price.
