Qsp
The company which is not ashamed to use children for their selfish profits slime-balls

Education & Science

This obscure company (nobody knows who and what stands behind QSP) uses children and schools in order to make profits. Probably the President and CEO drives around in a big Mercedes financed by the door-to-door sales of children...

Schools get a share of their profits and are engaged to send children out for selling cookies and magazines. The children are promised rewards and start begging their families and neighbors to buy something from them. For their sales in the $ 30- $ 60 range they get rewards which are worth a few cents.

The purchases are primarily done because people feel sorry to say "no" to a child, not because they have a need for cookies or magazines.

The whole ripoff is presented as something which helps schools but what are we paying our taxes for??? ($ 1,200 in yearly taxes for a single family home which is worth $ 80,000 here in Arizona)

Do the schools really have a need to send out children from door to door as sales people? It makes me personnally feel ashamed and the schools should also feel ashamed about participating in the ripoff of children.
