AOL credit card rip off OMAHA

For the past 2 months there has been an unauthorized charge on my credit card for MWI*SimpleEscapes2 in the amount fo $139.95. When I called this phone number, 1-877-271-4660 and asked about it, they wanted me to verify my home address. They do not even have my correct home address on file and I refused to give them any additional information. I was transferred to a supervisor named Sharron #4689 and told that they have a business agreement with AOL and they recived my information from them. We have not been AOL users since last November! When I contacted AOl Community Action at 1-888-265-3733 and spoke with Kervis he of course told me that they do not sell or give information to another company and this was the first he had heard of it. He advised me to contact an attorney.

If AOl does not have any idea of the situation why would they not be more concerned about a problem like this? I was never asked my name and phone number so they could research this and get back to me!
Cancelling Simple Escapes is another matter and one that I am not sure I have resolved yet. I have contacted my credit card company and told them this is an unauthorized charge and I will not pay it.
I am advising everyone I know to cancel AOL and cancel the credit card they are using for AOL!
