Fingerhut/Axsys National Bank false promises St. Cloud

Made arrangements to pay off balance after my husband was totally disabled and had no income for several months, a supervisor there told me he would drop the late charges and let me pay the original balance.

They went back on their verbal agreement. Then they sent the account to LTD FINANCIAL SERVICES IN HOUSTON, TEXAS. I made an agreement there to pay off the original balance. Then they started threatening to take my personal property because they hadn't received my check (which i had sent).

I am contacting my state attorney general. ELIOT SPITZER OF NEW YORK, hopefully to help me with this dipute. Wish i had never ordered anything from fingerhut. Nothing but trouble, harassment, lies and threats.
