Attempted rip-off verbal harassment

This company uses illegal tactics as a means to collect money they claim you owe for writing bad checks.

There is an open forum, and plenty of lawsuits, many are trying to get class actions filed against this company.

They write you letters stating that they are going to have you arrested for criminal fraud, and when you call to get information they become verbally abusive. I called and asked for more information on a check they clainm I wrote in 1998, mind you the letter I received was in they not only refused, they called me and my wife trash said we needed to be removed from the streets. They even threatened to have my liscense revoked. PLEASE!

Do not send these people money, they tell you you must do a quick collect in order to avoid criminal action. Please call your local law enforcement and get advice on your rights. These people can not press criminal charges against you or anyone else, they are merely a collection agency or so they represent themselves. Only the person who the check was originally wrote is able to press charges. Keep that in mind when you receive their mailings.

In most cases people who are skeptical and do their homework will find they never even wrote the check they claim you owe. Please do not stop here call the BBB of NJ, the consumer affairs of NJ, and the Attorney Genral in NJ, also contact your local authorities. You will find in contacting anyone of the listed offices, they are very familiar with NCC.
