Earning Issues/Payment/Insurance

I was hired to work with Paideia Academy, a charter school in st. Louis city. I was told that insurance was to be given to new employees after probatiion period of 90 days. I worked for a whole year and never received any medical benefits. I was told by Ms. Whitehead and Ms Pruitt, that they were going to back date all medical bills when insurance was received. This never happended. I also had to work another 90 days to receive insurance.in the meantime, my husband, who I usually carry on insurance became sick. We developed bills. I worked for them up until December 10, that's when they fired me. But, during the time I worked for them I had questions about being paid for sick or personal leave. They refused to answer. I also received a check for over $3300, for final pay. This too was questionable. They also took out over $1300, for medical insurance, but my medical insurance ended on 12/31/08. I have called them and emailled, but have not received any reply. I am in need of assistance, for I feel they are very underhanded in their dealings. Also, my W-2 form does not match my ending pay. They need to have an audit done. I feel something is terribly wrong with what they are doing.
