Teachers Hands Academy, Michelle Niez, Carolyn Rechwisch rip-off

This is a school that has made a business and big $ of ripping off the State of Florida as well as parents of the children that attend this school.

They are a Private Christian Academy (or so they claim)! They enroll children with learning and behavioral difficulties, and they charge fees that range from $3,000 to around $30,000 a child, the State of Florida picks up the bill on most of these children. Many of the children that require therapy don't receive the necessary therapy. (which is a benefit to send your child there.)

Meanwhile the school is housed in a shopping center and an audio store off of Curryford road. I asked a teacher why would my child benefit from going to this school? I was told the ratio of students to teachers. Well that was fine.

Until I found out that most of the classrooms are no bigger than my walk in closet at home. Some or most of the teachers are not certified to teach children in the State of Florida. As a matter of fact teacher aides seem to be teaching the majority of children there.

The employment contract states that every person working there is christian and believe in the directors beliefs... With the 1. Being, no homosexuality, but in fact the 2 directors (Michele and Carolyn) live in the same house and share a bed, and have for 7 years. What is that, I ask? Oh but now they have a hideout apartment in case any of this is brought up. For looks.

If you were to take a tour of their WHOLE facility then you would see the environment that these kids are supposedly learning, not good, no windows in the class rooms, mold in one building, a rat was found 2 weeks ago in one of the walls, the playground is across the street with no cross walk or guard, and no "children at play" signs, rooms like I said small as closet space.

I talked with one mother and she told me when they were brought in for a tour that they were taken into the shopping center part, a big clas room with windows nice and spacious. (For looks only apparently).

Turns out the first day of class for this student he was put a classroom that was once a freezer for a restaurant, dark, no windows, poor lighting, cramped space and poor ventilation, ie (no air conditioning during the summer months.)

So my question is, where is all the money going... Not to the teachers or the classrooms. The kids have to pay extra for anything else, books & planners, and extra curricular activities, such as sports, dances. Etc. They pay gas money for field trips, their lunch costs them $3.25 each day for no more than public schools give for $1.00.
