Kaplan University Degrees
Not Good Outside Of North Central Region Unfair & Deceptive Educational Practices

I have been attending school at Kaplan University for over two years, only to be told that my degree means nothing! I was told by the top school in New York City that my degree is not credible because Kaplan is not "regionally" accredited (as I was told). See the link... in detail, I was told that the school does not fit the criteria of the "Middle States Association (which is an example of a regionally accredited agency - see the above)." I was told by the school that my degree would be accepted everywhere, without error! I am veteran who is service connected and lost two years of funding for school through the VA. Kaplan's degrees are only accepted in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Why take money from someone in New York or New Jersey - knowing that they cannot use their degrees? That is like selling a 2 piece living room set in a one small room apartment - that you know will not fit in the house (it would have to go back - why take the money for it). Every school is asking for my h/s transcript from ten years ago. I lost all of my money and my education thus far - is worth nothing. I am also stuck with student loans and no degrees... I have a 3.85 GPA! Now, I have to start all over and buy all new books... The problem is... Most of my funding is gone!

Here is the truth about Kaplan, in comparison to the realm of things: These practices are unfair and deceptive and I wish to file legal actions!!!
