Received a phone call from a very RUDE and LOUD RPM Representative on April 24th. 2008. Stating that I owed 33.20 for an old Verizon Bill back in 2001. Never had verizon as a phone service back then. Wanted me to pay the bill over the phone by using my credit card or debit card. I was told that they do not accept payments through the mail. I also asked her for her name and number for me to call her back she refused and told me that if I do not pay this bill with this phone call then she would put be into involuntary collections and proceeded to tell me that my credit will be ruined and that it will cost me more in the long run if I did not pay this. I felt that I was being harrassed and threatened. I then inturn said that I would deal with Verizon myself and she told me not to bother because they would just tell me to contact them. I think this is a SCAM!!! And also I still do not know how they got my private phone number. Be careful whomever receives a call from them.
