Mystery Shopper Scam

I received a check for $3,699.50 with instructions on how to spend the money at different stores and also send a money gram for $3,079.50. This is all in hope to become a mystery shopper. I always check this ripoff site before I do anything that sounds too shady or good to be true. There has to be a way to stop these people from ripping people off.
