This company sent me a letters stating that i had been choosen to receive a home improvement grant

I recently recieved a notice in the mail, stating that I had been chosen to recieve a home improvement grant for 39,000. All I had to do was pay the taxes and fees with the enclosed check or pay the fees out of pocket to recieve the full grant.

I inturn thought that this was a legit business and proceeded acknowledge the claim. I waited for the second check, which they said I would recieve in 3-5 business days and this was on April 2 and was supposed to receive the the rest of the money April the 8th of 2008.

This I now know was a big mistake on my behalf and I will never be so foolish as to do anything like this again, so people please beware of this company.
