Ripp off Attacked my credit report

I am also a victum of Omnipresent. After being soilicted to buy magazines I canceled less that 3 hours later. My checking account had been credited for $68.00. The phone number I had for the company was bogus. I closed my account and said "shame on me" for being such a fool. Now 4 months later I recieved a collection notice from a law firm. I have never recieved one magazine from them. The law firm tell me that Omnipresent wants $784.24. They willnot give me any contact information for Omnipresent. They tell me that this is on my credit report. The lawyers will accept a settelment of $511.06 to clear this matter up. I told them to go away. This has to be illeagal. I will not pay this Law Firm or anyone else on behalf of this bogus co. Omnipresent.
