Bogus magazine purchase charges! 700 Bucks for magazines?! Ridiculous! Ripoff

If this company contacts you, HANG UP QUICK! This company is bogus! I was contacted by Omnipresent in August for some magazine subscriptions. It sounded ok, around 50 bucks or so for 3 - 5 magazines for 3 years and 3 or so more magazines for free just for joining them, so 7 magazines all together.

They were suppose to send a package in the mail explaining their service and your first magazines. I received neither!

In September I received a bill from them for $698.00 bucks! What the hell? These people are crazy I thought. So I called them several times and never got an answer. So I left them messages telling them to take me off their list and that this is bogus charging someone for something never received or aggreed upon (thus their package with the agreement never received) They never called me back.

I forgot about the thing and poof! 8 months later I receive a letter from some collection agency saying that I owe them $698.00 bucks!

So I called them and Omnipresent and no response from either. So I reported them to the BBB, and they sent back a response letter saying that I never called them and that I agreed to being charged the full amount of $698.00 which is their standard agreement. Which is a lie! Why would anyone pay 700 BUCKS for some damn magazines!

I was inquiring about their service which was suppose to be explained in that package that I never received! Now I call them and the person that wrote the BBB their rebuttal letter is no longer there! Then I can never get transfered to a live manager, and their voicemails are always never working for whatever reason and I always have to call back.

I have left messages at the front desk, on the company's voicemail, and several "supervisor's" voicemails. No call backs, nothing! Do not do business or even inquire anything with these fools!
