A true scam and total rip-off! They mislead children who dream to be a model

This letter is to inform you of the inadequate business provided by your agency, John Casablanca's Modeling and Career Center.

I enrolled both my daughter's (10 yr old & 15 yr old) in your school with the anticipation and impression that they would be learning a large curriculum which consisted of communication skills, cue card reading, improvisation, develop performance skills, and how to audition for commercials. At the beginning our children were asked how bad they wanted to be at your school from a 1-10 to judge their commitment including the parents. I can't speak for the other parents but I am aware how they feel; however I feel as though we have been cheated and lied to and entered a facility where your commitment level to your students was a zero!

What all of the parents including myself have received to date was a false and inaccurate perpetration of such. We never had a complete class due to the teacher was always late or never showed. We have not completed the schedule that was given nor have we learned what was listed on the scheduled class curriculum. The school is incompetent and I am very dissatisfied with the program. I was mislead as well as ripped off. My daughter's have not received any lessons that will benefit them. We have not used the book which was assigned to us for guidance. It was never taken out of their bags.

We have committed every weekend to valuable time traveling and money set aside for traveling costs to attend John Casablanca's which has been become a financial burden and a waste of hard earned money. I wasted time traveling to the facility to only be kept waiting or rescheduled and sent home. We have not completed the necessary classes to even begin a career in this field. Upon completion of the so called schedule we were to have a graduation which was also called off and put up for rescheduling. I at this time have had enough and will not agree to any more rescheduling. This program has put me in debt for the cost of $3,996.15, which I refuse to continue paying. Consider this a written notice of such. I will not be paying any more monies towards this charade of a business.

I am very unpleased and will not continue to make payments for such an excuse of a professional business. I have also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau to notify them of this unsatisfactory action. Upon the last class and being told the last class/graduation was cancelled (yet again), the parents and I tried to speak with the Director who refused to come into the class to speak with the parents and as we left kept her door closed so no one could speak with her.instead theDirector left the Office Manager to attempt to come up with a solution to our dissatisfaction. The solution we were given was to fill out a critique form that stated at the bottom, THIS IS NOT MEANS OF PRESENTING A FORMAL COMPLAINT. Formal complaints must be made verbally or in writing to the director. It's rather difficult to make a verbal complaint to the Director when she won't even come to the room to speak with the parents and shut her door to any conversation.

After leaving the school I was contacted by the Director Maureen Gisondi via telephone who only wanted to argue the comments I had made on my critique. The following day I was contacted by Gale Holvey who had the audacity to offer my daughter to attend the class over, which was absolutely ridiculous. I would never make the same mistake twice!
