Signed for my daughter a credit card for college 500.00 limit during the early 1990's. Card was stolen in and was told the card was reported stolen.
My address changed in 1994, I went into rehabilitation during that time and moved to another City. I never received any statements. My daughter remained at the residents. Capitol One is charging me for 7,000.00 which is rediculous.
My daughter passed away in 2007.
So what do you do when they are charging me for something that was charged on a stolen card.
I am following up with an attorney at this time.
