Easy Saver - American Leisure
Unauthorized charges to my debit card account

I started seeing charges of 14.95 per month for Easy Saver and didn't know what it was. Right before this started I tried to order a book I saw advertised on TV by calling the toll free number shown in the infomercial. When I called this number to order the book, I never spoke to a live person, and was not given the option to speak to a live person. It was all automated and I entered my debit/credit card information thinking that I was going to receive this book. I never received the book, but instead was being charged 14.95 each month with the name Easy Saver.

I kept thinking this was the charge for my book, and expected the book to arrive, which it never did. Then I got busy near the holidays and forgot and just now realized they have taken out 14.95 per month for 5 months now! I called this number 8775648538 that I found online from others who too have been ripped off from this same scam. I did reach a live person who claims they are canceling this and refunding the last two months. I asked for proof of my cancellation and was told I would be sent a confirmation letter. I then inquired about the remaining 3 months of payments and was transferred to another person. This person told me that the remaining 3 months will be credited back to me also, credited as individual 14.95 charges, not together.

I am waiting to see if I really do get credited and will post back here if I do. When I inquired as to how I unknowingly signed up for this I was told it was from my ordering something from television. But I see that another person who was ripped off in the same manner ordered from pro flowers on the internet. I also ordered from pro flowers on the internet right before this happened too so I'm not 100 percent positive that this was the result of my book order. Either way I will not use pro flowers again, or order anything from the television without speaking to a live person.
