BuySmart Supply, Inc Received a letter stating I won 65,000, I had received a check which looked legimate for 2600 dollars which was from the 36000 to pay tax and administrative fees. Farmers Branch, TX

I just received a check in the mail for $2,620.00. The letter stated I won it doing surveys online and had to the end of the year to respond or else they give it away to charity. This check looks to be real I did all the verification call the gentleman and pulled the bank number from the internet which looked legimate. They verified funds from the account number and amount being I was broked I deposited it thinking what can it hurt. I was thinking I'll keep the 2620 and not call the guy back for the rest being christmas is so close. The check was put on hold and my bank notified me it was a conterfit. They immediately Frozed and Closed down my account and I can never open one again with that company. Luckily I didn't have any money in there or else it would lost it because they frozed my account. There not pressing charges on me because I did my research but still i lost my account and maybe reported to check system for 7 years. Today i filed a police report in los angeles county. These crooks need to get caught and pay for what they did to innocent people. Now my bank references are ruined. I got the details of the envelope and letter at home but I had to post this message. If there is any more steps I can do to catch these guys let me know.
