Nov 4th a good looking young man ran our doorbell around 8pm. He began telling me a story about supporting his college baseball team at the University of Texas. He informed me that the team was going to a tournement in Hawaii and the money was to help cover the expenses. His story was very complete and consise. He seemed to have an answer for everything. He claimed that his parents justed moved into the neighborhood. As I think back now his answers were very general and he was very speedy with his responses. I questioned him about other friends in the neighborhood and he confirmed he had been to see them and recieved donations from them as well. This helped convince me of his authenticity. This guy is a good con artist and seems to be working towards becoming a career criminal. I could only imagine how far this guy will go. He flat smooth talked me out of $ 144.
