Took My Money for a Guaranteed Loan

My husband and I were also ripped off by Trillium Lending. We received a phone call saying we had been approved for a loan and needed to make the first several payments in order to get the loan started. I too did some research and thought that the company was legit and forwarded the money to them. First I was told if I wired the money, it would be in my account within 24 hours.

I expressed my concern during this entire process that I was somewhat hesitant because it is Christmas Time and I didn't want my 4 kids to be left without. I was told time and time again by William Stone that they would not want to do that to me. I forwarded the money and called the next day when the money wasn't in my account. I also was then forwarded to this Frank Stafford and was told I would have the money wired in my account within a maximum of 3 hours and it never showed.

When I finally got ahold of William Stone again, he told me the check had been mailed through certified mail. I asked him why it was different than that of our original conversation and he got quite hateful with me and told me this all had already been explained. The money never came and my husband spoke with a different so called Manager just yesterday and he told my husband that the fund would be released into my account today.

Needless to say there were no funds in my account, you are now unable to reach them by phone and my kids are going to have to do without Christmas because all of my christmas money was given to someone with which I thought I could trust but who obviously has no heart at all. Try explaining that to a 5,8, 15 and 16 year old. I can't believe there are people out there who would pray on others like this. I had already last my home and everything I owned to a Tornado earlier and now this. It just sickens me to think that these kinds of people live in our society.
