Demanding Payment!

So... I get this phone call today from a Ms. Goodwin from "Attorney" Norman G. Kalina's office... She left me a threatening message on my answering machine so of course I called her back to see what it was in regards to. Right off the bat I figured it was fishy because I blocked my phone number when calling and when they answered they gave NO NAME of the company just a simple HELLO MAY I HELP YOU? Being I had my number blocked, she acted as though she could not hear me and hung up - so, this time I called so they had my number on caller ID and of course she talked to me then. She CLAIMS I owe for a bad check written TWO years ago in the amount of 25.49 but I am being charged 132.49 because of the 'Ohio Statatory Penalty' which is in the amount of 107.00. She basically demanded Western Union CASH payment by noon Monday (today is FRIDAY) or it was being turned over for litigation at the courts. I called our state officials hotline (which brought me to your website here)... NCK first broke the law by not telling me that they were calling to try to collect a debit. So, I called Ms. Goodwin back - told her I would not be sending her any cash in ANY amount without written proof that I owed this amount and I wanted a copy of the so-called bad check I wrote two years ago... Her response was "I do not have pocession of those items & will have to request them but will not have in time for your deadline"... So I proceded to tell her how I contacted the State of Ohio and what I was told - boy, she sure changed her tone with me very quick... Saying she would get ahold of the information for me and call me back when she had it. She claims they did send me information back in JULY - 5 months ago - I told her to send it certified mail this time and I was told that they do not send things certified mail... What??? Why not? I do not look forward to hearing from this company again and BEWARE if they call you!!!
