Raised my interest rate from 10.99% to 32.44% and will not lower it Ripoff

After 15 years with GMCredit Card services they raised my interest rate from 10.99% to 32.44% and will not lower it at all. I hold a credit rating of 716 and they say I am a risk. I have never been late, Never had bounced checks.in fact always paid more on my bill that they asked. I have called every month to ask for a lower rate and the same thing is said every time. "We have no lower rate for you at this time". I feel like this is legalized "Loan Sharking". Please, anyone out there. CUT up their card and don't let this happen to you. Recently in the news I heard this happened to Chase Manhatten Banks too. The government stepped in. Does anyone know who I can contact in the government to stop this "Loan Sharking" from continuing? This is so unfair to all of us who make an honest living.
