Insufficiant Funds Ripoff

I have been a Chase Bank customer for over 2yrs. During that time I have received quite a few ISF charges. Many have been due to my own miscalculation of funds which I have understandably paid. However there have been far more charges placed on my account due to a check posting at midnight causing my account to go into a negative balance.By 12:01 A.M. (the next day) my paycheck is direct deposited, more than covering any transations that were negative at 12:00 am. Nevertheless I still recieve isf fees of $35 per transation for having a negative balance for only 60 seconds.
This practice does not seem ethical, lawfull, and in no way resembles any form of decent customer service. As a family man who depends on every dollar to survive, I cannot afford to pay these ridiculous charges for one minute of a neg. Balance.
If there is anyone who agrees with this problem or knows of any related legal action being taken please let me know.
Thanks alot!
Adam.
