Is a scam, rip off, liars, and con artists, not make up artists

I like others have had a similar experience. I paid $999.00 for a class that was to be held at the Holiday Inn in DC. I spoke to Russ Park twice and he explained I was getting a great deal. I signed up 3 months before the class was to be held. About 3 weeks prior to the start date I started calling every phone number on the website. I began leaving messages, and never received a call in return. I checked the website everyday to see if there were any changes. I called the Holiday Inn in DC and they had never heard of them. I started filing for a dispute with my credit card company. On Sunday, the day before the start of the class I noticed they changed the location for the classes. I would think any company with good business practice would call or e-mail their students with a change of venue.

So, I called the new hotel late Sunday night, and they had nothing. On Monday, the start of the class I called the hotel and in fact they were there holding the class at that moment. So, I called the number listed on the website again, and Russ Park answered. I told him my situation, and he didn't understand why I was angry. I told him I found that that they seemed to have a history of this, and why should I drive an hour and a half to a venue where they had no idea that a make up company would even be there! He said there are a few whiny people out there, who have nothing better to do than complain. He has thousands of satisfied students, so he's not worried about the whiners out there. He promised me a refund, which was his offering, I am thinking I won't receive it.

After reading many forums, complaints, and checking out the BBB. DO NOT give these people your money. I think this is only the beginning for me. Russ Park is a scam artist, even the girl at the desk at the hotel said he was crude to her and seemed shady.

Don't waste your money, and if you know of someone who had a similar experience, put it on here! They need to know what a rip off and SCAM this company is.Us "whiny" people need to stick together!!
