Angel Service Agency
Compensation Draw - Winning Notification Letter Scam ripoff

Education & Science

This is a case very similar to Report: #207689 reported on usacomplaints.com

I received this letter from Angel Service Agency with an address from Liverpool UK and a check for 1550 (Chevy Chase FSB Hyattesville MD) to be encashed for the purpose of Non Resident Government Tax.

I have reportedly won 50,000 USD as part of a compensation draw for all participants of national/state/sweepstakes in the past 5 years.

I have been asked to act up on the letter in next 5 days and contact my claims agents Ms. Christie Adams and Mr. Andy Morgan via telephone no. 01144 7922 278 606.

As is normal with other scams, I have been asked to keep this information confidential until my claims are processed and money transferred to me by western union money transfer.

My first response was to find a place where I could report this. To my surprise none of these 'agencies' or 'terms' came up in GOOGLE except the report

I would like to know if there are any federal agencies tracking these scams where I could report them.
