I'm steaming!!! I was naeve when I bought my car in Pa. I brought it to Arizona and traded it in, not aware that I was paying 23.9%.

After three years of good credit history, I found out that the principle was not going downand $6000 was still owed. It was worth $2000. When I asked them to refinance, they refused to.

I couldn't trade it because there was always too much negative equity. Many rude people harassed me and extracted money from me under false pretenses. None of this money went to the good of my account.

One rep told me that if I sold the car for its value, AmeriCredit would accept it and clear the title for me. That was a lie. At that point I sent in over $300.00 because he said it would "buy me some time" to sell the car.

When I had a buyer, I contacted AmeriCredit and was told that they would not accept the value. They wanted the $6000 owed on the vehicle and nothing less. I told them they would have to pick up the car and they said "no", flatly. This went on for months.

One day in April, the car was gone, I see it on my credit report as an "INvoluntary repossession" when it was voluntary, and just this week I receive a deficiency calculation stating that I need to call to make arrangements to pay back $5584.42.

They got $1275 at auction and charged me late fees, auction charges and charges to tow the car away. I told them that if I couldn't pay $6000, how did they think I would pay them $5584.42.

They lied and cheated and were extremely deceiptful for their own gain.

They never wanted to work with me, ever, and I tried very hard to come to a solution. They are very unreasonable. You speak to someone different each time and each tells you something entirely different.

I'm sick and tired of big businesses taking advantage of people and not treating them fairly. They are only out the the dollar and they don't care about the customer and helping them.
