Frauds, liars, telemarketers! Want something for nothing Ripoff

They called me off a list of major cc holders, I immediately knew he was a telemarketer even tho pretending to work for a credit card company or something. I let him tell me what his deal was bc some telemarketing comps have legit offers.

Sounded like a deal at first, blah blah same as other stories.

I got on the phone with his manager, gave her my card # then decided I didn't want the magazines afterall because there was 0 money in my account. I told her I had 400 dollars, and I can't buy the magazines bc I just wrote two checks for 200 dollars each.

I wanted them tocall me back, or I'll call them back, but they wouldn't do that. That's when I knew this was a scam, so I said forget it, I don't want this. THey argued with me, told me not to cancel, then told me my order was already processed and there was nothing else they could do.

Processing called me a minute later and I told her to credit my card back and don't send me anything. Again, she argued with me and asked why would I agree in the first place if I knew I didn't want it. I said I never agreed! You just charged me!"well, all our conversations are recorded, so we wouldn't do that if you didn't agree" I said Well, then she misunderstood me, but I never agreed, and I want my money back. Then she bublshitted me, said she can't do anything because she's only processing, then pretended to transfer me but instead hung up on me. I'm such an idiot.

I called my bankn immediately. Area Circulation already took money from myh account, so I closed my card and ordered a new one with a new card number. We'll see if I get my money back.

Their first offer was 2.99 / week for 2 magazines, plus 3 other subscriptions for 60 months plus 3 day 2 night vacation package, plus entry in 1m drawing contest bullshit. And I can pay monthly using check or money order. Condensed payments from 60 months to 12 months was 58 / m including INTEREST! WTF? Reduced to 37 / m, but charged me $47! Please help Dateline!
