Ripoff, paid for goods and never received charged my card right away, no customer service

I purchased some items from this company back in December never received goods. They received their payment immediately from my credit card, but nothing ever received on my end. After calling and having to leave messages for several months, finally got a hold of someone, and they were to send my items immediately. Still, nothing received, now I can not even speak with someone, and no one returns the calls. BBB did not do anything, and I filed a report twice now. I am out money and do not know where to turn to prevent this from happening again.
