Collins, Stole jewelery with fake Paypal through EBay. Ring of thieves: buyer in UK, ship to Nigeria, Boss in China, Oyo State Oyo State / United Kingdom / China

I was selling a gold necklace on Ebay and was offered $6000 for it by a "Captain lady" in the UK who told me she was in the Navy and couldn't follow the auction. I agreed and ended auction. Buyer setup spoof Paypal email and convinced me to ship it to her son in Nigeria as a gift from "Mum and Dad." The Paypal spoof was set up as an Escrow to protect buyer and seller but I wouln't receive the money until the tracking information was sent to verify shipment.

I shipped item USPS Global Express and provided tracking information. I was notified that I would receive the funds shortly. Well, they never came. I was asked to upgrade to a premium Paypal account to receive the money by linking my bank information and that's when I got suspicious. I called Paypal and they told me it was a spoof. They even knew that the item would be mailed to Nigeria.

The robbers are set up in different countries to avoid being traced. The boss is in China, the "buyer" in the UK and the person receiving the merchandise in Nigeria. All items end up in China where the boss then sells merchandise and the money is split.
