Rebate ripoff fraud scam no rebate given under investigation no returned calls florida

Purchased Spa in 2002 with "deferred rebate" of 50 (fifty) months for full purchase price. Paid $5200.00. Small print of Cashback America Promotion Check was definitely detailed and difficult to understand. I sent to first notice within 30 days of purchase by certified mail, return receipt requested. I received my confirmation back in a timely manner.

The next step was to hold all the original receipts, payments, purchase order, etc. For the 50 months and then send in the paperwork —again certified, return receipt& within the first 30 days after the end of the 50th month but no later than the 31st day after the end of the 50th month. Along with a copy of your drivers' license, a copy of your current address listed on your utility bill, a copy of the first certified mailing, original documentation to show you still own the spa, a copy of your final payment for the spa and their rebate form.

Try following those instructions/conditions. I followed all the conditions and mailed it in. The instructions said it would take 6-8 weeks for the rebate "as long as your paperwork was filed correctly". Obviously after 11 weeks, I still have not received my rebate. Also, the company moved and changed their address without notifying anyone.

I found 10 or more other people who are having the same problem with this company on this web-site. I have also learned that they are being investigated by the Florida State Attorney General's office. Hopefully, we can get our rebates and get this company out of business.
