Dishonest ripoffs rude and demanding This company, somehow, without my knowledge ripoff

This company, somehow, without my knowledge, sent me a check for the same amt. Of tax refund I was to receive 3 days after I filed, maybe I'm stupid, but I just figured it was my refund and spent the money.

About a week later, I get this bill, stating to start making pymts. On my loan, that I never applied for and if I dont, there would be a $40 month int. Charge.

Then I start getting harrassing phone calls daily at my home and place of work, stating I have to pay the whole thing back immed. Or it will be turned over to collections, and i believe it has by now.

I'm not really sure what all happened with this deal, but I thought you had to sign for a loan and be approved to make sure you qualified to pay it back.

The IRS said they know nothing about this company, so dont know how they got all my info. From my return, and it is stated it is a "Refund Anticipation Loan".
Also, since I owe the IRS, they would be keeping my refund.

So, don't really know what the hell is going on, except they are charging me $40 a month for int. Along with what I thought was a refund ck from the IRS which was about $2700 and calling me constantly and demanding full pymt. Right now.

Even if I did apply for this loan, i thought you usually had time to pay it back over months or years, I didn't realize a company gives you a loan, then demands full pymt. Within 4 wks. Otherwise, they start socking it to you and turn you over to a collection agency.
