Loan sent money never got loan now never got refund

Got a phone call from james clark and he told me what i wanted to hear that i was approved by a private lender for a loan of $5000. Great news for me well i thought so. He told me i had to send in 6 months of pymts to secure the loan so the lender could buy an insurance policy on it. It sounded good. So i moneygramed 700 plus fees to the accountant in canada.

The next day the senior customer service officer, john edwards, toknow that my loan could still be processed but i needed a full yr of pymts due to the fact the insurance company pulled a credit report and i was found as a risk. I know my credit is not the best and thats why i needed this loan. Well i did i sent another 900 to even out a yr worth of pymts all which was to come off the loan balance.

John called me later that night which i thought was him calling to let me know the funds have been transfered to my acct, NOPE! He was telling me the lender backed out of the deal and there would be a full investigation as to why but i would have to wait until nov 13th for a refund, b/c my money went out of the country to canada.

Okay well today is the 14th and still no refund and when i call i get the machine, i have left a message every hour since i woke up this morning. I have contacted the BBB and the local authorities here. I dont know what else to do. My husband is in the marine corps we have two small children and i work at the local hospital for little pay.
The loan was to pay off bills so we could have a good xmas together, our first in three years b/c of deployments to iraq and africa.

If anyone has talked to these folks listed or had the same issue with the same company please let me know.
