A letter offered me 1,900, 000 if i sent 19.95 in to claim my prize this is a total rip off

I received a letter stating that I would receive 1,900, 000 because my name was chosen and all I have to do is send in 19.95 Thank goodness I checked it out on the rip off report first and didnt do it. The letter I received looked very formal and I almost fell for it.
