Falsely advertised a detailed background check that produced nothing more than phone book info and scam for more money! I

I wanted to conduct a personal background check and went online to see if there were any companies specifically recommended for this. Consumer-Guide. To/Background. Checks warned about the possibility of being scammed and recommended NetDetective as one of three top sites to get a complete and accurate background check for $29.95. I went with the recommendation and the results were a total joke! It gave my marital status, which was incorrect, my birth year that was incorrect, and my address information that is identical to what you would find in the phone book! It had fields where it showed hobbies (?!?) and education but you had to pay additional money to find out this information!!!

Coincidentally, there was no phone number or address or any contact information to reach these thieves at, and the receipt they give you prints out with a username and password that was suppose to be mine for future logins but they were some made-up b.S. Username and password that I didn't choose and assumed they were just there to fill in the blanks with! Total Scam!!!
