Dishonest Ripoff Takes advantage of people trying to promote an idea doesn't stand by contract!

Back in 1999, we had an idea and contacted american invention associates. They contacted us back stating our idea was great and they will help us get it out there. We of course paid over $3,500 to get started!!!

We received our info packet, followed all the instructions paid our money and started the process. Sent out our first 100 and then 2nd 100 letters to prospective Manufacturers. Needless to say, out of 200 manufacturers, there were only 6!!! Contacted the company on this and they sent out a 2nd set of Manufacturers to mail our stuff to... Checked these out and there were again only 7 actual manufacturers. Tried repeatedly to remedy this situation for 1999 - 2004 and was not successful. (Let this go for years due to family sickness).

Recently tried to contact this company again. Called our 800 contact number. Not in service. Tried their 800 # - not in service. Tried to look them up on the computer and only found this sight with American Invention Associates listed as one of your ripoff companies. They used to be in Troy Michigan. At the Liberty Center.

They promised to help us, promised to show a prototype of our invention overseas... We never got proof of anything that it was shown overseas. Never got proof that it was represented anywhere in this world!!! Only looking for 50% of our $ back because we let it go too long but still feel that we deserve something back because nothing was done for us that was promised according to our contract...

We still have all the original documentation relating to this..

Please don't ever get involved in anything with American Invention Associates because you will get NOWHERE!!!
